Amina Terms of Use

Age requirement
Amina is available only to people who are at least 18 years old, verified at account creation. If you are under 18, you may not create or use an Amina account.
A companion, not an authority
Amina is an AI companion for reflection, learning, and personal support. Amina is not a scholar, therapist, doctor, lawyer, or emergency service. For religious rulings, medical concerns, mental health crises, or urgent safety issues, please contact a qualified professional, trusted local authority, or emergency service.
Community conduct
Harassment, exploitation, grooming, threats, hate, impersonation, sexual content, privacy violations, scams, and deliberately misleading religious claims are prohibited.
Your content
You retain ownership of what you submit. You grant Amina permission to store and display content only as needed to operate the service. Private reflections are not made public by default.
Safety response
Images and voice notes are reviewed automatically before storage. Reports receive an immediate automated policy action. Severe categories remove content across the community. Other reports immediately hide the item from the reporter. RedLantern Studios is the published legal and safety contact, not a routine moderation operator.
Crisis support
Amina is not an emergency service. If you or another person may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services and a trusted person nearby. In the United States and its territories, call or text 988 for crisis support. Outside that area, use the crisis or emergency service available where you are.
Enforcement
We may restrict or remove content or accounts that threaten user safety or violate these terms.
